WHEW.

God is moving.

...and He's moving fast.

I cannot begin to describe the amazing presence of God we have been experiencing at the Lighthouse Church. During a recent prayer meeting God gave me a verse that I have heard and read many times before...

"Say not ye, There are four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." -John 4:35

When grain is ripe, it turns from a greenish color to a golden yellow color and continues to get lighter the longer it sits; when the grain is white, it's almost too late to harvest. ...Almost TOO LATE to harvest. Ugh. This hit me, and it hit me HARD. How many times have I thought, ...Oh, I have plenty of time to reach my neighbor/co-worker/family member... I'll talk to them about God someday and maybe I'll be able to get them to come to church with me...? The fields are already white, there's not that much time left. WHAT am I going to do about it!??!? Nothing? Just sit back and be "at ease in Zion"?? Just go on about duties in life and hope that they will maybe mention something about God or church to me?? Ummmmm.... I'm sorry but NO. God has spoken to us directly time and time and TIME again saying that He has given us the land, it's ours to go out and possess. Ok, so God has given us a promise.

SO LET'S DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RAWWWWWRRRRR!!!!!!

It's TIME to get involved!!! It's time to give 150% and then some. It's time to let the purpose of Christ consume you. It's time to exercise spiritual discipline. Daily prayer, daily Bible reading, weekly fasting. It's time for CONSISTENCY. Accountability. Responsibility. Passion. Hunger. DESIRE. I promise you God has SOMETHING for you to do. And I promise you that there ARE young people who are PASSIONATE about the things of God and who are headed in the direction God is moving at 150mph. We have prepared ourselves, we are READY for the fight, we WON'T give up, we won't turn around, we WON'T back down. There's NOT room for compromise. We won't leave ANYONE behind. It's ALL or NOTHING around here... =) ALL or NOTHING. and we choose ALL. We will give ALL of ourselves to God, EVERYTHING; not keeping anything back for ourselves. This is not the time for carnality. mmmm-hhhhm. I said it. We don't have time for carnal young people. We love you and want you to be saved. BUT. If you don't want what God has for us during these last days, then go your own way. We can't allow your spirit to slow us down or stop us because GOD has a work to do!!!

Last Friday I turned twenty-four years old. Twenty-four years old... TWENTY-FOUR YEARS OLD!!!!!!!! JUMPING-JELLYFISH!!!!!!! I never once in my life did I think I would make it to this age. I feel so... old. No. Really. Bring on the TED-Hose and Metamucil. Buhhhh. Anyways, even though I'm feeling SUPER old, I had an absolute BLAST on my birthday!!!!! My actual birthday was on Friday... I woke up to baloons everywhere, I was actually kinda weirded out by them. lol! Got up and got ready and then went and ate a YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY birthday lunch at Lanna Thai with Shanelle, the girls and Shelby. Then Shelby had to go to work and I went SHOPPING! =) Matt & Megan's wedding was this weekend (YAY FOR THEM!!!!!!!!) so their rehersal and rehersal dinner was on Friday night. When we came home from the rehersal dinner, Shelby had cupcakes and flowers for me!!! Awwwwww!!!!!!! I loved them!!! Thank you Shelby!!! =) Saturday I got up and headed to the church to do Sis.Deborah & Marissa's hair for the wedding and then to start pictures. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!! Megan was a GORGEOUS bride!!! After the wedding, we had my birthday dinner at PF Changs. It was SUPER yummy too!!!!! =) After we ate, some of us went to Starbucks and then to Austin & Chantelle's to play games. Chantelle made some AMAZING cookies, they were SUPER-DUPER-GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! We ended up not going to bed until SUPER late that night, but it was sooooooomuchFUN!!! =) Thank you to EVERYONE who made my birthday super special!!!!! I love you ALL!!!! =)

Wellllllllllll.......... One of my favorite holidays of the year has passed!!! Hope you had a great day celebrating our nations independence with the ones you love!!! There's just something about watching fireworks that makes my heart swell with pride for our great country! God bless the USA!!!!!!!!!! =) I celebrated the day by getting Peachwave, getting a pedicure, going shopping, making GREEN rice krispies (tried to make red or blue but could only find the green food coloring!!!), watching fireworks with my friends at the river, and then doing a few sparklers!!!! haha! God is amazing. Church was SO good today!!!!! Have you ever been in one of those services where it seems like the preacher is reading your story word for word?? Today was definitely one of those days!! Elder Taunton taught Sunday School today and it was EXACTLY what I needed! I mean EXACTLY!!! It's amazing to be reminded that God knows RIGHT where we are and even more amazing to know that He loves us enough to send someone with a message that was designed just for you. Makes my heart smile. =) He is faithful, never fails, and we can put ALL of our trust in HIM!!! Hope you have had an awesome Sunday as well, tomorrow is the FOURTH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!! ;+)

Wow... Amazing, youth camp was amazing!!! I can't even begin to describe the awesomeness of it! The move of God that we had at camp was incredible. Our young people came to camp with a hunger for God and they weren't disappointed!!!! Bro. Andrew Howard did an amazing job preaching, every message was exactly what we needed to hear! I had the privilege of working with our junior youth this year (ages 12-15), and REALLY enjoyed it!!! I love our young people so much, can't wait to see where God's going to take our youth group in the remainder of this year... God's got a revival with our name on it and I plan on being right smack dab in the middle of it!!!!!!! ;+) The theme days were awesome this year, Cowboy & Indian Day and Nerd Day... lol!!! It was fun seeing everyone dressed up... We also had a "Luau" on Thursday night which was a lot of fun... We tried to make it a surprise for the campers so they didn't really know what was going on at first but we ended up having a really good time!! LOVED camp, can't wait till next year!!!!!!!! The funniest thing happened to me tonight... Funniest thing/grossest thing; same thing, right?? Sooo as many of you know I work at a hospital as a nurse tech. I've been able to work alot more lately because I can't start taking classes until March. That's a whole 'nother story. Anyways, from time to time crazy things happen to me while I'm working. I've got quite a few stories, enough to write a small book. Ha. So I had just started my shift and was making my rounds meeting the patients, taking their vital signs and just making sure they had everything they needed.... I had done a couple of rooms already and walked into the third one. When I walk into a room for the first time I always do the general introduction... Hi my name's Whitney and I'm going to be your new tech... blah, blah, blah I proceeded to tell the man that I was there to check his blood pressure and he immediately starts freaking out. "Well you KNOW my blood pressure is going to be high NOW!!!!!!" I paused for a second and then asked him why it was going to be high. "Because you came in the room!!!! Anytime a BEAUTIFUL woman comes into my room my blood pressure always goes up!!! (Mind you he's SCREAMING.) I just kind of ingored him and told him that he needed to calm down and that we still had to check his bp anyways... People do all sorts of stuff to try to get out of having their bp taken up here!! I asked him if he was having any pain... He goes, "Only in my heart... you broke it in half when you said those hateful things to me!!!" (OMW) I got done with his vitals (his bp was fine.) and asked him if there was anything that he needed. "Is there anything you can do for me sweetie!!?? OH BOY, sure there is!!!! You can just stay in here with me and keep me company all night so I can look at your beautiful face, that's all." At this point I'm like OH MY wOooOOORRRRrrrDD!!! This guy is CRAZY!! I told him that it would be impossible for me to just hang out and keep him company seeing as I had 8 other patients to take care of. I turned to leave and almost forgot to write my name on the board so I went back and was writing my name on the board when he asks me if I'm married. I tell him no and that takes his level of freaking out to the next level. (if that's even POSSIBLE) "WELL DO YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND OR WHAT!!???!? LOL!!! I told him no and then he asks me if I've ever been kissed. I'm like, "NOooooOOOoo..." Sheesh, WHAT a creeper!!! He's 78, mind you!! Now he's REALLY freaking out... "WHAT, you MUST be lying!!!! You big liar!!!!!" and I'm like... "Ok well I'm leaving now you just call me if you need anything!"... Then he's like, "No you come here I need to tell you something..." So out of frustration I go over to see what he "wants to tell me" because I REALLY need to leave and get to the rest of the patients... Then he's like, "Give me your hand." I'm like WHAT?!?! Ummm NO." lol and then he starts spazzing out AGAIN! (Pretty sure he's halfway crazy in the head at this point) after arguing with him for a few seconds I finally held my hand out so he would STOP screaming... He grabs my hand and pulls it to his lips and KISSES it. OH. MY. WORRRD!!!! Really??!!?! Really, creepy old man!!?!?!?! REALLY!!!??!? EWWWW!!!!! Then he's like, "Now you can't say that you've never been kissed!!!" I was like ok, I REALLY have to leave now... Crazies, they're ALL crazies and they're taking over the hospital!!!

I went and washed my hands five times.

Yuck. Yuck. YUCK.

So... I'm sitting here, supposed to be working on Economics homework. MYFAVORITETHING... errrr not really!

Let me explain to you what this is. It's basically a process of separating the meat from the bone of the chicken, all done by a high pressure machine. Sometimes a few bones may get ground up in the mix. So you get bones, meat, guts, brains, etc. ground into this wonderful meaty paste. At this point, the meat paste is crawling with alllllll sorts of bacteria so what do we do??? SOAK IT IN AMONIA OF COURSE!!!!!!! Seriously!!! After that, it will have a weeeeirrrrd and disgusting taste (because of the amonia) so we add chicken flavoring. YUMMY!! Then to get rid of the weird pink color, it's artificially dyed.

This is what hot dogs, bologna, potted meat, chicken nuggets, chicken patties, etc. are made of.

I don't think I'll eat meat again... (this isn't only done to chicken)

Hmmmmmmmm.... I'm up late, again. Sitting here thinking about how awesome God is, and all the many benefits that come along with serving the Lord. "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." Psalms 103:2 Who am I that He is mindful of me?? I'm nothing special technically... Just a regular human being, made of dirt; full of faults, failures and shortcomings. Yet somehow I'm still special to God and He has plans for my life, BIG plans. Yep... Even when I can't see what's going on around me, even when the storm is so dark I can hardly tell up from down; He has a plan and a purpose for my life. It's a blessing to be able to work in His Kingdom. I love Him more and more every day!! =)

I've been teaching an art class at our church school every Monday, I LOVE IT!!! =) We've been working on abstract name crayon and pencil drawings, the kids are having fun and so am I!! Here are a few pics from our last class...

I've also been playing the piano for our Chapel services at the school this year. It's awesome to see God touch the lives of the students every week, I'm glad I get to be a part!

I started one of my online classes at TCC this past Monday! Macroeconomics... bleh!! I'm actually enjoying it so far! It's a FOUR week class, so only three weeks to go! =D I'm alllllll caught up as of tonight!! We'll see how long that lasts! =) I also started two classes at our new Bible school, the Apostolic College of Biblical Studies. I'm taking "Apostolic Doctrinal Distinctives" and "Understanding Your Bible". I'm SUPER DUPER excited about both of these classes!! Our first class was awesome, the next one is tomorrow night! I STILL need to finish my homework btw... haha

Speaking of, I probably need to get right on that!! =)

You haven't heard from me in a while... Some things have changed in my life lately and I thought you should know. =] I'm going to try to update two blogs. Keyword there is try. If it doesn't work out, oh well. lol Anyways... Soooooo here's an update on muah. I've kind of changed directions a little bit with my schooling. I'm no longer attending OSUIT, I finished the summer semester out but didn't go back this fall. I'm going to pursue my Business Associates from TCC and then possibly get a Bachelors from OSU Tulsa in Business Management. It's was a bittersweet decision for me, I had a hard time leaving my classmates and AMAZING teachers behind but I felt God was leading me a different direction. I guess we'll see how all the pieces fit together in His timing. =] Thankfully my teacher KK was very understanding and supportive. I love and respect him SO much, he is passionate about what he does and has instilled that same passion for photography in me. He taught me things that I will never forget and for that I am grateful. That being said, I'm starting out on a new venture.

yay for new ventures. =]

I'm planning on officially launching my business by either the end of this year or the beginning of next year. I will be gathering cash, lots of cash to purchase equipment and props. I'm super excited about this new venture, I know it's going to take LOTS of hard work but I've always been up for a challenge. Wish me luck!

Now that I'll have more free time (since I won't be driving to and from Okmulgee everyday) I'll be working quite a bit more which will be nice. I'm currently without a vehicle... Ohhhhhhhh dear. =((( Hopefully that will be changing soon!!! THE LORD IS A PROVIDER!!!! =D I put my car in the shop last week and when it got out, it STILL wasn't working! I'm going to try to sell it and then go from there... Jesus help it! So if you see someone speeding around in a Wal-Mart cart, it's probably me! lol

I'm also halfway homeless at the time being? Whatever that means... But that's another story for another place... Boo for being halfway homeless...

The Lord is good and I love serving Him! There's nothing like knowing you're in His perfect will, even if you go through trials and tests, He's right there by your side. He is good.

We had church tonight in Owasso! It was a reallllly good service!!! Bro.Cheek preached about "Hidden Victories".... We had a really good breakthrough! The kids out there are so sweet!! I took some pics after church tonight but I don't have my camera with me! I'll hafta put them up sometime later...

I'm at work again! Workin in ICU tonight... It's the first time I've worked in critical care, except for RCU. I've always been scared to work over here but it's really not that bad! The work list is waaaay different than regular floors! There's really not much to do at all... the nurses do most of the work! lol!

Hmmm.... I started school Monday! College Algebra for the THIRD TIME!!! haha!! I dropped out of it the other two times because I had too much stuff going on... I decided it would be easier to do in the summer, without any other classes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

I went swimming today!!! All by my lonesome! Had a blast though!!! Got a teensy bit of sun, gotta keep workin on the tan...

I'm at work right now, been working the night shift. That's all they have for me to work right now is the night shift... They started hiring more people up here so they don't have to pay the regular employees overtime. Ridiculous if you ask me. I'm wired at the moment but don't know how long that'll last... I won't go to sleep until tomorrow after church around 5 or 6? Maybe later? I get off at 7 and then head to my apt to get ready for church in Owasso, I started helping out with the music out there. After that, choir practice at 12:30 for our regular service... We've been having special tent services for Pentecost Sunday. On top of that it's 5th Sunday so we're having a big pot-luck dinner in the gym after service... It's gonna be fun! Can't wait!!! Hopefully I can down enough coffee to help me stay up!! lol

Hey hey hey errbody.

It's raininnng outside... beautiful! Sigh... I think my windows are down like half an inch. It's ok though, shouldn't get too wet.

Life is full of excitement- crazy stressful events and happenings, but I guess that's what keeps you on your feet.

I'm at work right now... I get off in 53 minutes. lovely! I took Hazel, my brother's German Shepard puppy for a walk yesterday... Or maybe she took me for a walk. She's not exactly leash trained as of yet. It was quite interesting.

I love God with all of my heart, He is so incredible.

Oh... psssh.... I guess I should write something like what's going on or whatever. ha. Jewel, is here in town with me! Some people call her Rhonda, but I usually call her Jewel, sometimes Rhonda. Anyways she's here... and she stayed with me last night even though my walls were supposedly "wet". Well they weren't. And we didn't cough our lungs out or anything. She drove down yesterday and didn't get in until around 2AM. Thankfully I was still awake because my tire almost had a blowout on the way to work yesterday so I was up with B changing it... yay... ha. Anyways so we went to bed at about 0330. Got up at noonish. Then I had to go to work at 2... She'll be staying here until Monday night for the holiday... We're already havin a blast! I love good friends, and it's not often they come stay with me! =)

Best worst news of the day?? I dropped my phone in the toilet this morning. Yes the water was clean. I was running late for my recital and ran in the bathroom to grab some hairspray with my phone and a few other things in my hands and KERSPLASH into the commode she goes! So yeah... to add to my already busy schedule, I have NO.CELL.PHONE!!! The one I was "trying to use" after my original phone jumped off the boat keeps going off like every 5 mins! Now it won't come on at ALL!!!!!!! For Pete's sake...

So they interviewed me and everything for like 30 mins and then told me to go wait outside on the couch! HA totally felt like American Idol or something! They came out and told me I was pretty much stuck with them for the next 2 years!! SAAWEET!!!!!! I am sososo excited, if you can't already tell! =D 5 more months!!! EEEEEKKKK!!!!!! =)

If you keep reading and gag it's TOTALLY not my fault! I warned you!!!!

Ok. This is realllly weird! I've been sick for like 10 days or so now with allergies/sinuses... So like 4 days after being sick I went to the Dr he did a strep test on me and it came back negative, thank the LORD! He said it was just my sinuses and there wasn't really anything he could do about it. So he put me on antibiotics and told me to take an otc sinus med. I finished all of my meds and I'm feeling waay better now... Then last night at church after pre-service prayer I blew my nose and it was NEON YELLOW!!!!! Like BRIGHT yellow! Cindy almost threw up! LOL! I was freaking out!! I have NEVER had snot that color in my LIFE! I hope my brain fluids not leaking or something!!! Anyone know what this is from!? Someone told me I probably have a sinus infection, but I don't really feel sick anymore! All I have now is a mildly runny nose and my throat was a teensy bit sore this am... WeEIiIIrRD.

Anyways. Hope I didn't make you puke. =)

School is SOMUCHFUN this semester! I'm taking College Algebra, Ethics, Advanced Photoshop, Music Theory, and private voice lessons!!! My math and ethics classes are "have to classes"... the others are just for fun. I am extremely busy, that's for sure! I'm also starting up piano lessons again at the beginning of next month!! Hopefully this will be my last piano teacher! LOL =) I've taken lessons like 50x!

Church has been SOOOOOOO awesome lately!!! We're in revival with Bro.Thrasher. People have been getting the Holy Ghost like crazy! It's SOO AWESOME!! My cousin got the HG Mon night!!! =D A girl named Kellie got the HG last night! God's doing GREAT THINGS!!!!! =)

First of all, if I spell words wrong or type things backwards- you will have to forgive me. I'm forcing myself to stay awake and work overnight after I already worked from 3 to 7. I haven't worked overnight or stayed up allll night long since summer. So... I'm extremely exhausted and ready to go home. Not happening for another hour and fourty-five minutes. 16 hour shifts are crazy. I'm crazy.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! =) I spent the day with family at my grandparents house. It was fun.

Ok so last night, which wasn't really last night but two nights ago, I just haven't been asleep yet...

I went to bed as soon as I got home from going out to eat after church.

It was like 730pm.

So I'm laying there and I woke up at like 1130. I totally thought it was like 5am. Well it wasn't.

I'm totally trying to go back to sleep and I can't because the stupid stompers were stomping.

So I'm halfway between sleeping and dreaming and listening to the stompers.

I decided right then and there that I needed to write an "Ode to Stompers" and put it under their door. LOL!

Although now in a townhome the people adjacent are constantly slamming into the wall about once every hour. What in the world would make someone constantly slam into the wall all day long? Stumbling around drunk and out of control? And whoever sleeps in the bedroom behind mine must have out-of-control limbs because every half hour their arm or knee or something SLAMS into the wall with a loud thunk. Where do these people come from? I think I've hit the wall of my house maybe once in ten years. What is going on! "

I am in the worst mood ever. I crashed my car today. I couldn't have chosen a better day huh? Seriously. I smashed into a concrete light pole thingy at Taco Bueno. Talented huh? Yep. That's meeeee.... I was sooo mad I didn't even go to Taco Bueno and headed off to my next destination, Walmart. This has got to be the worst day of the year to go to that tortuous place. Once I finally found a parking place I go to open the door and it will only open like 3 inches. OMG!!!!!!!!! I didn't look at my car after I crashed cuz I was so mad... So I had to crawl over my console and get out of my passenger side door. In my Lexus. I've never been so mad at myself in my life. You better not be laughing out there... It's so not funny.

I'm officially done with this semester!!!! YAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) I didn't work as hard as I should of though... I came out with an A and THREE B's. I usually get all A's and I'm thoroughly disappointed with myself. This is a result of not studying at ALL and staying up WAYYY too late. I'll do better next spring tho! I got my letter of acceptance from OSU a couple of days ago, I'm STOKED! =) I'm going down this next Wednesday for a tour! YAY!! =) I'm starting there next fall. I'm still at TCC for one more semester!! Sad sad sad when I leave because I love this place!

This month is going to be incredibly busy... But HEY! No SCHOOL!!!! =D I can't wait until Winter Heritage! It's gonna be a BLAST!!! I'm staying with Brooke! She came up last weekend and stayed with me in my polly-pocket sized apartment! LOL!

Victory Report #1

Prayer really works!!! I was running late for school... (as usual) and could NOT find a parking place!! SERIOUSLY! It was RIDIC! So just non-chalantly, I said Jesus help me find a parking space! LOL Next thing I know a lady was pulling out of the very FRONT parking space closest to the school!!!! Coincidence?!?! I think not!!! =)

Victory Report #2

We had our mid-term for Speech class today. First off, about 2 weeks ago, our teacher passed out the "study guide." Which was seriously 20 pages long. I FREAKED OUT! LOL I mean, come on! Who wouldn't!?!?! This is an AP Speech Class! I had NO CLUE what to expect! Anyways, our teacher told us last class it would be a 50 question multiple choice. We took the test individually and then he divided the class into two groups to take the test as a group. I think it was like 90% of the grade was your own and then 10% was the groups? Anyways he combined them somehow to make your final grade for the test. Did I study for the test?!?? NOO! Of course NOT! LOL I never study! I read the paper while I was driving to school if you want to call that studying. LOL So I was pretty much SURE I would flunk it. Pretty much sure. SO I get to class LATE like 5 mins. Start the test late... drudge through it and turn it in. When everyone was done we did it again as a group. Our teach is pretty much awesome and does all of his test grading right there in class. SO he graded the group one and said we made a 90%! NINETY! Which really isn't that good for a group grade. I mean it's ok... but not the best! You'd think we'd be smarter than that. So everyone started freaking out pretty much... yep. The first group had their grades and everyone was saying they made like 70's! EEK. I mean seriously, this really smart geeky girl made a SEVENTY EIGHT! I was REALLY in panic mode by this time. THEN the teacher was like, "Whitney, can you come here please? I need to explain something to you about your grade." I was like OMG! GREAT, I MADE A 50! LOL So I went up there and he was like you made a 94% and if I figure the group grade in, it will bring it down to a 93% so I'm not going to figure it in...... After I finished my victory shout and aisle running, I gave the teacher a hug! I made the highest grade in the class! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!?!?!!?!?!!? THANK YOU JESUS!!! =D

MY FINANCIAL AID IS GOING THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They processed it and have to wait to hear something back from the department of education? They said they would know something in 10 days or less! WOO HOO!!! =)

I went by my apartment again today and they put the appliances in the kitchen! YAY! They also painted the floor where the fridge is. I guess they had no where to put it while they were painting the rest of the floor first. Smart people, huh? It looks GOOD! I wish they would hurry up! =) I took some more pics! Ugh... I am not feeling good at ALL today! I went to school but not to work... Blah. I've been eating cough drops like candy! Anyways... Yesterday after school I went by my apartment to see how things were coming along. They were putting the cabinets/sink in the kitchen. See the guys feet coming out of the cabinet!?!? LOL =D They are done with the red paint except for a few tiny touch-ups. They still have to go back and paint the trim around the ceiling and floor. The appliances were there too! Brand spankin' new baby!! LOL =D They were all in the living room so it's kinda cluttered looking! The pics aren't very good cuz they're from my phone... lately I have been straight up addicted to going thrift store shopping... addicted. Like I've been going to the Goodwill every other day. LOL =) We have this HUGE mega sized Goodwill and they get alot of stuff from Target. I LOVE that store! Anyways... I'll have to post some of the stuff I've picked up over the past few weeks... I had been watching this table and chair set at Goodwill for like 5 weeks, they wanted $170 for it. ridiculous. It was brand new in the box. I mean it is cheaper than what they sell it for at the store but we're looking for a bargain here, right? Sooo I waited and waited and waited thinking they might lower the price and I went yesterday and they HAD! They took it out of the box and put it together with the lovely pricetag of 89.99. SOLD!!! =) I am going to paint it black. Here's a pic off the Target website... 250 bucks mind you! =) I love me some GOODWILL shopping! =D
Change of subject.... GUESS WHAT!!?!?!? Yesterday was WEDNESDAY! Did you know that? Well Wednesday is my weigh in day and GUESS WHAT!?!? I lost 6.4 lbs last week! Insane, right!? I don't know how I lost so much in one week... I didn't starve myself or anything! weird... but HEY, I'll take it! It actually put me at my 10% goal! =)

I got the Flu shot at work on Monday... Since Tuesday I've been sick. yay. not so much. AND I have to work tonight for 8 hours then Friday and Saturday 12 hours. crazy.

Can't wait till WCC!! It's coming up SOOOOOOOONNNN!!!!! =) =D

Hello my fellow Americans!

I am SO TIRED!

Ok... SO. Like in the last 3 weeks I've been asked at least 3 times each week if I'm Indian. LOL! Yesterday I had a lady ask me what nationality I was! HELLO!?!?! Do I look like I'm from Zimbabwe or something!?!?!? You'd think I have feathers sticking out of my head or something! YES! I live in a TEEPEE and take the canoe to and from work!! HAHA Just kinda tripped me out! I am Indian, but I guess I've been looking extra-indiany lately.

I went over to see the apartment again on two days ago and it's still not done... Sooooooooooo I won't be moving in this weekend, maybe next weekend. They are painting the walls right now. I'm going with Anita next Tuesday to pick out light fixtures. How cool is that!!? The people there have been SOOO awesome so far. Can't wait to move in!

I stilllllll need to post pics, I KNOW! Most of the time when I post I'm at work! I need to bring my camera cord w/me to school next week...

I gained 1.6 AGAIN! ugh. HEY! At least I'm consistant!! LOL BUT I'm back on track now and am hoping for a big loss next week!

Anyways, So what's been going on? Life is just plain wonderful. I am alive and breathing. What else do you need? =) We had our annual Sunday School Fun Fair at our church this past weekend. It was a blast. Wore me plum out. I did the Karaoke Live! show... It was way awesome. lol After the Fun Fair we had a concert... The Pace's came from Dallas, they were incredible!

Alyssa is still here, you can imagine the damage Tulsa has seen since July... haha =)

Ok so this is a dumb story... So I'm getting an apartment, right?? Yes. Anyways, I was going to be moving in to an upstairs apt. but it was BLUE. And the lady didn't want to paint it. Soooo she was already re-doing one below it and said she would do that one however I wanted it. She said to bring her a paint sample by and then they would get to work. SOoooooooooOOOooooo... Yesterday I took a sample by and they said it would be just PERFECT! HAHA =) No seriously, she DID! I'm painting it a dark red color... Anyhoo so today I'm getting ready for class and Jack calls me, he's the apt manager... mind you he's 80, EIGHTY years old! LOL! Anita is the apt owner. Jack called me this morning and said that the color I picked out was NOT going to work!!! And yesterday they said it was PERFECT! LOL I was pretty upset!!! I told him I would have to think about it and call him back. Well apparently he started feeling bad or something and called me back and said the red would be fine... LOL SO. They're still painting it red and it should be done in 2 weeks or so... I promise promise PROMISE I'll post pics soon! I'm at work right now and don't have my camera cord w/me! It's a total wreck right now cuz seriously they're redoing EVERYTHING! LOL =) I can't wait until it's done! YAY!!!

WARNING!!! This is a gripe session........... lol =)

I'm at work right now on my lunch break... I'm working 3-11 and at 7 they put me at the Children's Hospital. I've never worked over there before but thought it would be a fun experience. I was "supposed" to be sitting at the desk answering the phone/call lights/door... Instead the charge RN said I was going to tech. So that's what I've been doing... UNBELIEVABLY CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 3 infants and 11 kids between 2 and 15!! The policies and procedures are COMPLETELY different w/pediatrics than with adult pts! It's ridiculous... I would have rather went to a diff floor in the reg hospital! DUMB DUMB DUMB!!!!!! I called staffing and they said the house supervisor specifically said that I was NOT to be teching over there... just answering phones! So staffing is supposed to be calling them to tell them! They're gonna be MAD when I get back! N I still won't get off for an hour after that!!! O BROOOOOOOTHER!!!!!!!!!!

The Adventures of Whitneyberry Finn...

SO... I didn't exactly post the next day about camping! LOL I've been SUPER busy! WORKING!!! UGH! =)

SooOOoOO we finally left BJ and Shannys house around like 1AM or somethin like that to go "camping" after taking foreeever to strap the canoe on the 4runner.... We drove FOOOORRREEEVVEERR!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY! It was RIDICULOUS!!! And BJ kept closing his eyes for loooooooooong times! Not a good thing to be doing when you're driving! LOL Anyways, he made this big deal about going to a "primative" location! LOL Didn't really know what that was... monkeys??? He said it's like a place where no one goes... haha So we FINALLY get there and it's PITCH black dark! NO lights ANYWHERE!!!! We were like ummmm where in the world are we!?!?! AND NOOOO BATHROOMS!!!!! Or so we thought... AND guess WHAT!!!!?? There were BEAVERS!!!!!!! Two of them! The CUTEST things!!! I found them by the water! They only stayed out at night tho! lol We set our tents up and finally went to sleep around 6AM! SERIOUSLY!!! It was getting bright outside and BJ's tryin to build a fire! LOL Me n Ally were crammed into this midget sized childrens tent... with NO AIR MATTRESS!!! Just an old thin sleeping bag! Neither one of us had ever been camping before so it was quite the adventure. WELL I wake up at like 8AM with the sun shining RIGHT on my face! And someone was hollerin'! haha I was like DUDE this is SO not COOL! I was sleeping right next to the window thing... I sat up and saw these people puttin their boat in the water! We were like right on the boat ramp! Anyways she saw me and was like "GOOD MORNING!!!!" HAHAHAHAaaaaaaa I was like are you kidding me!?!?!? WHAT IN THE WORLD!!! I thought there was supposed to be no one out here!?!?!? It was like 500 degrees in the tent and we heard Shanelle getting up to get in the 4runner cuz it was so hot so we both got in the car! Turns out it wasn't very "primative"... lol like 50 hillbillies came and put their boats in the water! haha This is a loong story, I know!! lol Anywasy so we slept in the car for like 2 hrs or somethin n it was still SUPER hot! I decided I was gonna go get in the water! LOL SO we went swimmin for a while and then went canoeing... sp?? I absolutely LOVE CANOEING!!!!! =) I went by myself like alll day! So much fun!! I can't quite stand up in the canoe though!! LOL Anyways so we stayed out all day swimming and canoeing and then we ate lunch, swam some more... Brandon went on like a 10 hour fishing excursion and brought back 4 minnows.... HAHA In the meanwhile, these drunk people were totally creeping us out, we were being attacked by bugs and couldn't get the fire to start... NOT fun! LOL We thought we would leave when he came back but he wanted to cook again!! SERIOUSLY!! The "fire" wasn't really much of a fire... It was like 2 sticks and 5 gallons of lighter fluid!!! LOLOLOL We FINALLY left around midnight or so... quite the adventure. I will never go camping again without an air mattress.

AND I didn't get ANY pics!!! LOL

Life has been crazy as always!!! Good news! The electricity was still on when I got home last night!! LOL

WOOT WOOT!!! I qualified for the PELL GRANT!!! =)

School is going greeat... I have my first quiz on this next Wednesday... PRAY HARD!!! =)

UNBELIEVABLY busy... That's me!

We've had TWO code blues on my floor today... One of them was my patient. Thank the good Lord he made it to ICU alive... The code put me about 2 hours behind so I've been running around here like a CRAZY person! I'm suprised they haven't sent me to the psychiatric ward! LOL

Yestereday after work I went to play mini-golf with the C&C... Tip came! We had a BLLAASST!!! We went to Chili's afterwards... YUM YUM! =D

I'm probably getting an apartment sometime soon... Probly in the next few months! Don't worry, I'll invite you over! =)

School started this week and I LOVE it! My teachers are awesome, as usual... I'm kinda very un-stoked about my speech class tho! Makes me super nervous... TOTALLY! LOL Anyways, I'm sure I'll make it... =)

Other than working my hiney off life has been pretty normal... whatever "normal" is...

Yesterday I didn't wake up until 2:11 PM! I was supposed to be at choir practice by 12:15 and church STARTED at 2!!! I was SO upset with myself! I got ready in like 5 minutes and was at church by 2:33... SO embarrassing! Seriously, working nights has my schedule SO messed up! I'm gonna have to get back on track because school starts next week... Otherwise I'll be sleeping through my classes!

AHHH! work work and more WORK! I've worked 12 hours today so far and have 4 more till I get off! CRAZY! Kinda cool tho cuz they sent me to the Maternity floor and I LOVE it! =) It's like a mini nurse station! There are only 2 nurses and 9 patients. It's SUPER easy down here! They need a tech like two days a week for the next few months too, so I'll probly sign up here! The babies are SOOO ADORABLE!!! =)

I start school in a little over a week. I am SO not ready for it! I'm taking Comp 2, Government, History, Speech, and College Algebra! WOO HOO... I love taking classes but I hate having to work at the same time! It's SO hectic and I hardly have any time for homework! I guess I'll manage somehow tho...

PEAK is next week! YAY! Nicole's coming in like next Wednesday and we're going to pick her up! I can't wait, it's gonna be SO fun!
